A thousand times
A lustrous paint
The facelift
Receives
As it struts
The waves
The audience
Mesmerizes.
When CNN
And Fox News
And people with
Huge axes to grind
Are the only eyes
With which you see
The picture gets
Kind of blurred
At the end
Of the tunnel
Though there's little
To boost the morale
Of the mother
Whose hapless son
The frontline
The conflict
Braves.
Thanks Allah

For it airs the truth
And uncovers the legs
Of the lies imparted
And dresses up not
The unjust
In an image
Perfected.
