A tear for humanity...Wasn't that what I was talking about the last time I blogged...? Particularly saddened am I by France's decision to impose it's anti-islamic rules on young school going girls.
What's the world coming to? Why isn't anyone helping these girls? Shouldn't Muslim governments be offering these girls free education in their own muslim lands? So far, I haven't heard of a single Muslim leader who voluntered to invite these Muslim girls to his country...
Incidentally, now that France has made plain it's intolerance of Islam, what's preventing our Muslim leaders from paying them in kind by imposing their own Islamic rules on the French? Wouldn't it be just nice if all French women were forced into full Jilbab the minute they landed on a Muslim soil?
If the French can make their own decisions about other people's faith, so can we. UNcovering these girls is a sacrilege and an affront to all freedom loving people.
This is a dangerous weapon against Islam and it should not be taken lightly. The French seem to be dishing out all kinds of excuses: France is a secular state, State and Church are separated, etc.etc. But my question is if it's so that State and Church are separated, why then does the French President celebrate Christmas and Easter? Shouldn't these be thrown out of all places. After all, isn't the President a Statesman? And a Public figure? The way I see, except within people's houses, all other places are public. It's not just school premises that are public....Not forgetting, like the President himself, French public schoos also celetrate Christmas and Easter.
Schools have holidays during Christmas and Easter.
So my question is: Shouldn't people be constant? If you're secular and totally godless, you're secular and totally godless. So you don't want a cross necklace in the school? Then what's the Christmas tree doing in the school compund? You don't want a cross in the school? Then why are school children subjected to painting Easter Eggs?
Needless to say, the Christmas tree is bigger and more visible than the hijab, the skull cap and cross, all put together.
No amount of excuses will absolve France from the stupidity of banning the hijab and other religious symbols in schools for the reasons that have been put forth.
However, if there is more to this banning than meets the eye, then we say to France: Stop hiding, say it like it is. As things are you're confusing us, simple Muslim women whose body starts from the head, and not from the neck.
