Books not selling by Fern Lutkins 3/7/2011 6:07:45 AM
Hi ya buds. How goes things with you this morning? I hope you had a great weekend. The weather here is lousy again. It will be June before we see good weather.
I received a message over the weekend about how this author feels so depressed that her novel is not selling so well. I emailed her back that she need not feel bad. Many authors out there have written 20 novels or more and still have too work a business to pay the bills. Myself I am retired and on a fixed income. But it would be nice if my novels all three of them pulled in some money. Then maybe I could take my two live-in daughters out for a nice dinner. But for now, that is not the case. However, it could be worse. I look around me and there are so many people out there with out a place of their own and even some withut food. I am thankful that I do not have small children. Lord how does one feed them without a job or help from the state. No one shoudl feel ashamed that they were laid off from their jobs. One must think about swallowing their pride and take any job that comes their way too feed their familes. I give these people a big hug and kiss. God speed baby. Things will get better. As the saying goes, when you lest expect it, you are there. Now for the word game.
The word for today is....altruistic....kind or caring.
The complexity of the situation was overwhelming. Annora felt faint and her breathing came in short gasps. She pushed herself away from the table and made her way over to a cahir by the open window, and collapsed into it.
