Hi ya buds. How goes things this Monday morning? Hope you had a great weekend. I mean that sincerely. Sunday went well. A day of doing nothing. I had a friend over for dinner, which I did not cook. My oldest daughter does all the cooking. From time too time she will ask me how a certain dish is cooked, but other then that the kitchen is her little domain. My two girls have taken over the household chores, which leaves me free to write. And speaking of writing, have you ever had a day or week when you are stuck on a chapter which you can't seem to get out of? If you have then you know what I am talking about. I go into a page to edit it and end up revising the whole thinking process.
Hy buds, I am still waiting for you too send me your unusal word for the word game. Remeber there are a million words in the English language, which I am certain no one knows them all or their meaning. And the words that I show you are used in my books, "Sunday Awakening Fern Lutkins," "Dust Carried on the Wind" and "Continuum Dust Carried on the Wind" book 2 Kindle edition. When you get a chance check out my web page at www.sundayawakening.com
OK now time for the word game, here is the word.
FETLOCK....I use this word as hoof...horse
Now for an excerpt from "Dust Carried on the Wind.
In the moonlight's reflection upon the ground, Andrei noticed footprints under the open window that he had overlooked before. He dropped to a knee for a better look. Andrei could make out imprints of small feet in the dirt as well as imprints of narrow heeled boots. On closer examination, he saw that the feet prints stopped and only the imprint of boots were in the dusty ground. He stood up and followed the boot prints over to a tree at the end of the property where there he saw many fetlocks, as if a horse had pawed nervously at the ground.
Well there it is for today. Have a great day, hug your kids, kiss your spouse, and do not forget your pet. Bye for now, Fern
