Blogs by L. G. Figgins Observation: God Has a Sense of Humor 6/10/2005 7:38:20 PMI may offend or overstep my bounds but I'm sure that if I do, it won't go unpunished. Lol! Life is full of irony. Haven't you noticed? Especially when we're full of ourselves. There's always something that happens to remind us how small we really are. Even just a little inflated ego and-BOOM-God will send you falling over your feet in front of a laughing crowd to make you look like a fool. Or stand in judgement of someone else? Bet you ten you'll face the same circumstance and the same critique. Apparently this is how we learn. A native American prayer asks God to let us "walk a mile in my brother's shoes" before judging him. Very wise. But he needn't have asked. It will happen. I guarantee it. Spend two hours making yourself look pretty and a sudden downpour will make you look like a wet cat. Walk down the street smug in your superiority and a bird will poop on your head. Kinda hard to feel superior with bird crap in your hair. It goes on and on. I'm sure you can come up with a few if you ponder it for awhile.
