I read with interest some entries which were posted at boards about ghosts and the like. What is curious is that most of them involved adolescents. Coincidence? I was 11 years old when I saw UFOs. I dragged myself from bed at 11 or 11:30 pm to go to the bathroom, which was upstairs. Next to the toilet was a large window. So, as was my custom, I gazed out the window while attending to my "duties". At that time, the trees in our backyard were fairly young and not very tall. I could see clear to Fleenors market. Suddenly, three flourescent green triangular-shaped objects appeared over the market and hovered there for what must have been close to a minute, and then flew off with great speed straight up into the sky.
I saw no flashing lights, just these things glowing in the dark. I felt no fear, only awe. Half asleep and half awake, I thought that I might be dreaming. Well the next day, I found out that the local US Airbase had received hundreds of calls concerning the UFOs and the local radio station had been broadcasting reports...Weather balloons?
I was 13 when I saw my first ghost. I was at my best friend's house and we were sitting on the cushions by the bay window, talking, when a foggy figure started descending down the stairs, which was directly in front of us. When it reached the middle of the stairs, it disappeared. I found out later that a man had died there
My daughter was 14 when my father died. She told me that she was in bed reading, when she saw an indentation on the comforter as if someone had sat on the bed. Then she felt a pat on her leg...
I have no fear of these things. I see ordinary miracles everyday. Why can't there be other dimensions beyond our knowledge and other worlds that we know nothing of? Some of these things may be revealed through this century. Remember when they thought the world was flat and Gallileo was a heretic?
