Two second editions and a new Malaysia novel out in the same year. Also took my lovely Rottweiler Bella (star of the Wager) to a vet and they suggested I write a novel about my own back yard. Hi all. Strange sequence of events occurred in April. I took my dog to the vet for shots so I could attend the Pacific Book Festival in Victoria. The vet suggested I write a novel about Maillardville, the French community in Coquitlam he works out of. I started to research Maillardville where multi-millionaire A.D. McRae set up the world's largest lumber mill in 1909 and wound up in Qualicum B.C. where he had an estate. Fell in love with Qualicum and purchased a house there. Now am in the midst of writing the Maillardville novel, trying to finish my Alaska novel about oil and the threat to the Alaskan National Wildlife Refuge, and selling my other two properties so I can move. Have also released two second editions of "Chief's Children's School" and Aloha and MaiTais recently and my new funny novel "Healing Khadijah" about Malaysia and East-West Culture clash. Does life always speed up as you approach the magic 65?
