It is a beautiful day in sunny Florida.  On this day I cannot begin to say how "thankful" I am for our men and women who put their lives on the line everyday so that people can have freedom.  I think that most of us take this country for granted and do not appreciate or realize how fortunate we our that we freedom of speech and religion.  Let us pray that our troops fight with the blessings of keeping them safe.

Now, having said that, let me explain my success at a book signing.  On June 26th I had a book siging at All Booked Up Bookstore in The Villages, Florida.  The owner Jodi, is very supportive of local authors and encourages them to have book signings at her store.  Usually when I have a book released I have a book signing party.  Since so many people (snowbirds) are away I decided to have it at All Booked Up.

As usual, I sent out invitations, telling people about my new book release, Casserole Parade.  Jodi could not believe how many people turned out, bought my book, as well as other books in the store.
