1. Make a marketing plan
2. Set a budget
3. Decide on the strategies to implement
4. Date to start your marketing plan
5. Do not try and implement every strategies
6. Make the time to market strategies
7. Track what marketing strategies are working
8. Realize that your plan is a work in progress
