The first time I received an invitation to a book signing, there were questions I should have asked, but I didn’t realize it. Below are questions you may want to ask before accepting a book signing invitation.
How many authors will participate in the book signing?
How will the book signing be advertised?
How often have you held a book signing event?
Is there a price for the author to participate, such as table rental?
How long does each author have to stay at the book signing?
Will authors share tables?
Do authors have to bring their books to the book signing?
Can authors price the sale of their books?
What are the hours of the book signing?
Are there any restrictions regarding table decorations?
