On June 7th the Antique Road Show will be at the Palm Springs Convention Center. The day they announced they were coming to Palm Springs, I applied for tickets. The application allowed each home to apply once and should they be selected, they would receive 2 tickets. Ok, I must be more honest here.... I wanted tickets badly, very badly, soooo badly that I made sure all my local friends applied for tickets so they could take me along <wink>. After stirring everyone up and getting them to apply, I feared we would have too many tickets. After all, they were only doing it to make sure I got to go <great friends>. But what if all received tickets, there's only one of me???? So for the next months I feared my little plan might be over the top!
Today the Antique Road Show sent letters to all of us saying we weren't picked. BUMMER!!!!! How is it that 100% of all of us (12 applications) did not get picked? How fair was there selection process? I am heartbroken that we couldn't get at least one ticket for this event. I must admit my 'poor sportsmanship' is showing a bit! I have a huge case of 'sour grapes'... All I know for sure is that I probably won't watch the Antique Roadshow for at least tonight while I grieve.

Yesterday I wrote about the Antique Roadshow Ticket process for the Palm Springs, June 7th venue. Since then I have received emails from upset citizens who believe the Antique Roadshow Ticket process was some marketing ploy or a possible scam. I still have yet to find anyone that received free tickets from the application online process. Please send me a message if you received free tickets because many of us who were denied are questioning whether free tickets were ever available to the Palm Springs public . . . THE LATESET NEWS on tickets comes from looking for them on Ebay. If you go to Ebay and type in: Antique Roadshow Palm Springs, you will find you can buy immediately 2 tickets for $359.... they are shipped from New York! Interesting isn't it! I won't pay that for tickets! SUNDAY. This morning on Ebay I typed ANTIQUE ROADSHOW TICKETS and I came up with a few new sellers. One was quite unique, obviously they didn't want to get in trouble by 'selling' free tickets, so they are selling a cancelled stamp for $99 and with it they are giving away two free tickets: Antiques Roadshow Tickets Palm Springs Free W/Stamp THAT SELLER has four ebay sales going on like this (8 tickets) and the tickets come out of ELKHORN, WI . . . not Palm Springs! Interesting isn't it. To those who have not kept up with my story please read the post below. It has the links to the other entries. OK, I reallllllllllllllly mean this, I will wake up Monday morning and I'll be over it <wink>. I'm starting to accept I am a non-ticket holder. Thanks for all the emails and comments . . . by the way, I have received many ticket rejection emails from disappointed desert residents and only a couple emails from people who won. Makes you wonder huh?
