My first blog entry. I'm still getting the hang of things here at Author's Den, so I hope you'll bear with me while I get my page up and running to its fullest capacity.
Meanwhile, I wanted to say hi and welcome to my page! I'm new to the world of published novelists, having had my book available to the public for exactly one week now. I am not even close to being new to writing. :=)
One of the things Author's Den asked for was a picture caption. I may change mine later, but for the moment it says, "The difference between a dream and a goal is a plan." (I'm not sure who first said it but I won't claim credit.) I chose this saying because while my dream of becomming a published writer has c oome true, it was not by some cosmic accident. I wrote every day for years, creating and improving my stories in small, measurable steps. I may create some more blog entries to go into details.
For now, I just wanted to say "hi" and invite all of you to contact me, make comments, or just read the first chapter of my book.
