My goal is to write something every day or two, and so far I'm exceeding that goal! Now I just need to get some readers. :=)
When I celebratd my 29th birthday in June, someone jokingly told me that I had reached the age I would be for the rest of my life. I guess a lot of women do lie about their age. (Although maybe the aging baby boomers will help change that -- they sure are giving it a good try on shows like Oprah!) To me, though, there just doesn't seem to be any reason to lie. I've lived a great life for nearly three decades and next year, I will be thirty.
Wisdom comes with age, they say, but they are very wrong to say that. Wisdom comes wiht experience, not age, although years offer opportunities. In the past year, I have had a baby and sold a book. As long as I keep working hard, living my dreams, and reaching for new goals, I see no reason that I shouldn't be thirty next year, forty ten years later, and even fifty ten years after that. One of these days, I may even become wise. Until then, I encourage both young and old to live their years rather than lie about them. :=)
