Things just get more hectic and my brain goes into freefall - wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! It's been a good long time since I posted any bloggery here. I'm surprised at myself for finding a moment to do so now. Life has just become insanely busy lately, what with being the oldest student in town and still being a real person with husband, children and grandchildren to share my time and smiles with.
It's December, which means birthday time for three of my closest relatives, plus Yule, Christmas and the New Year to fit my general doings around. Well, most of the doings are done or ready to be done and I even had a look at a book today.
Weather in this part of England (the old one, not the New), with sunshine or soft rain for the past couple of days. The leaves have mostly fallen from the trees and been collected. Not in our garden, though. Little creatures depend on them to get them through the winter and so they'll stay on the ground until spring; or until they decompose or get munched by earthworms, whichever comes sooner. Hopefully we'll give one of the endangered species a bit more of a chance of survival.
So, what's happening in the world of Sue? Well, the degree course is going well and I'm settling into that nicely. Writing wise, I've been doing odd bits here and there, mostly to do with the creative writing module. So far, a few poems, some in the process of being published, a co-written radio script, a monologue and a book to proof read. Fairly average really.
Now it's nearly Christmas, so I'll wish you a joyous festive season, however and whenever you choose to celebrate. Sue.
