Gcast: Great little Podcasts for my Music 12/16/2008 7:08:41 AM
I now have GCAST podcasts on my GOOGLE BLOGS and YOU can SUBSCRIBE! Which means as I periodically add new tracks to the two that are on the module now, you'll get to hear what's on my latest CDs. Just go there and CLICK on the SUBSCRIBE LINK> Like in composing, sometimes it takes a while to find the right "article" to use to get a great idea across (in writing too!) It has to surface from the subconscious by itself. The internet and all its tech is like the subconscious particularly to those of us who have are a one-man promotion show. GCAST which offers PODcasts for music and voice is now going to be my mode of choice for getting my mp3s across on MY GOOGLE BLOGS/
I'd put one on my Bio page here at AD but I'm only a Silver member. AD is cheap! [Considering we pay.] They hold back the best stuff until you pay more! On GOOGLE Blogger, all this tech is FREE! So why aren't more people using Google? Infinitely better pages than here - but I guess it's the lack of a joining community.
Anyway, I'll no longer launch my own downloads of mp3s or provide FREE download links except for the 1 or 2 tracks from each CD at my JzCDz.com Storefront. NOW you can just LINK over to my Blogger Pages and HEAR the PODCASTS. No more running around the internet uploading my music mp3s to inferior flash players that take forever to load: just get a channel or 2 - That's the ticket!
I have a PODCAST MODULE on each of my Blog pages for AUGUST OCEAN OVERTURE. 2 tracks for now, but they look nice and load easily in Hi-speed connection. For modem, it's a bit of a choppy listen, so you can still download the free tracks.
Still, GCAST knows what their doing. They make LOW bitrate copies of you mp3s, which in the case of this technology actually make my piano music sound better (I tested it on my modem only connection).
I'll have a PODCAST for my CD: IN MEMORY ONLY at my Google Blog as soon as the CD is released shortly. Meanwhile the AugustOceanOverture Podcast is on that blog too.
