Don't worry about me. I am not suicidal.
Thank you so much again, one and all, fellow poets. Many of you have read my works, and commented on them so kindly, and responsively. I appreciate you all so much and your words of encouragement.
A lot of my work was written during the past five years when I was going through a sudden physical, and financial abandonment by my husband of fourteen years,(literally, a Doctor Jekyl, Mr. Hyde transformation by him). I found out later, of course, that my trust and naivety was only rewarded with his adulterous behavior and lies.
In a nutshell, I used my writing as a therapeutic catalyst for healing, changing, and growing through and out of a very painful experience.
The point I want to make here is that I am no longer that puddle of emotions, doomed and depressed, that is mirrored in a lot of my writing from that period of my life. I hope to create works that mirror emotions and experiences to help strengthen and encourage others.
I have healed, grown, and am very satisfied with the strength and wisdom I have now, partially as a result of those days (because each day was a trial in itself).
I post my writings in an effort to help others know that they are not alone in their trials, tribulations, heartaches, pain, and suffering; to give hope that their future is but a heartbeat away from their pain. Strength came from my faith and dependence on God.
So please, lovely people who are able to give and care about a stranger so generously and personally....don't worry about me now. I am not suicidal (nor was I ever), and I have so much to give back to this world and others like you who perpetuate the only thing that lasts eternally, deep inner love and caring for your fellow man (er, in this case woman).
