TRIBUTES TO CONNIE FAUST AND MICHELLE KIDWELL
Where My Prayers Were Stored (FOR CONNIE)
What am I doing thinking I’m a writer and joining Authors Den?
But with unknown courage I wrote and made my first friend.
Her encouragement and inspiring words really speared me on.
Because of her, I couldn’t stop writing until my day was done.
This friend I met that day became more than you’ll ever know.
She became my sister which made our hearts join and grow.
We found out many astonishing things about each other too.
We both came from the same hometown, something we never knew.
But more amazing than the town was the church we both attended.
I was born and raised in that church where my young spirits ascended.
Now she prays in the same pews where I prayed years ago to my Lord.
It’s like we were drawn together by where my prayers were stored.
She’s a loving and spiritual lady who reaches out to those in pain.
She gives so much of herself to everyone wanting no thanks or gains.
She does it all for her Lord and she follows HIS every lead.
This is why I love my sis and watching her reach out to those in need.

She Touches Each New Day (FOR MICHELLE)
My heart is drawn to gentle souls with an uplifting song.
I could be with them forever through my whole life long.
For they’re so loving and reach out to touch your heart.
They take nothing in return but become an essential part.
I found this gentle soul here; she’s so young sweet and kind.
She continually lifts me; these souls are hard to find.
Your life is better for knowing her for she never complains.
She has an illness in her life, but her loving spirit reigns.
She lives with pain and weakness but you would never know.
For her beautiful lifting spirit always continues to grow.
She turns a negative into a positive by using what’s she’s learned.
And when I feel sorry for myself, I think what she’s overturned.
Her faith and love for her Heavenly Father is what spears her on.
And she shares this faith & love with us ‘til her day is done.
She writes such beautiful poems and stories in a most unusual way.
And I read every uplifting write for she touches each new day.
