Dedicated to the two Great Poets and friends on AD
KARLA OUR STORMSPINNER AND ED KOSTRO Don’t Cut Down Our Soldiers (FOR KARLA)
No one can describe it better when the frosty winds blow.
But she knows more about life than you think she knows.
She was once a brave soldier and now she’s an honored Vet.
I learned more and more about her, since the day we met.
Sure she can describe a storm like no forecaster can.
But did you even realize she fought to serve this land.
She’s a true Patriot with patriotism in her soul.
She’d fight today if she could, but her health took its toll.
But she reminds us when important days come near.
She’s still serving her country, let me make that clear.
She’ll cut you to the core if you cut her soldier’s down.
For she is still serving and her patriotism’s sound.
So I’d think twice what words you use when she’s around.
And you better start appreciating our brave soldiers,
When our Beautiful, Fighting Karla is in town.
Hooray for you our honorary heroic soldier may we all follow you.
In loving our precious soldiers for their sacrifices and all that they do.

A True LionHeart! (FOR ED)
Lions and Tigers and Bears Oh my…
These are the words of this poet’s battle cry.
From the large animals and to the very small,
This poet would champion and adopt them all.
His heart is huge and champions those who can not speak.
He takes strays in from the woods, mountains or streets.
He heals them with loving care then sets some free.
Finds good homes for others; it’s how it should be.
He keeps some in his loving home to flourish and to grow.
There is no bigger hearted man that you or I even know.
But he doesn’t stop there; he also fights for our soldiers rights.
They have no greater hero and he’s not afraid of tough fights.
This land is a much better place with this man being a large part.
So I for one want to tell him, ED you’ve really touched my heart.
