A word of advice: Don't start browsing through the dictionary at two friggin' thirty ayem in the morning. Just so's not to leave you hangin', 'penultimate', according to my old World Book,  is the next to the last syllable in a word. Until now, I didn't know that.  Anti means against, or opposed to. Pre is a prefix... coming before.   So... is the meaning of 'that word', 'That which precedes that which is in opposition to that which is the next to the last syllable in a word?? 'Might be a little hard to work into casual conversation. And this might be a very good time to get some sleep.
