LUCID DREAM 8/2/2009 11:50:44 PM
Lucid Dream and Attempted Healing
Lucid Dream
Just for later reference
I once said if I ever had another lucid dream I would send healing to my body. Well it happened two nights ago. I was standing in a light blue room, edged in candy apple red, and wondered why I was in this strange place. Suddenly I knew. “ I’m dreaming!” I said, aloud. “This is what I’ve been waiting for! Immediately I thought of my body and ordered, “Body heal! Body heal! Body heal!” On the third order a powerful surge of coolness climbed from my feet to the top of my hips. From there on up the feeling was much lighter.
You must understand that when a lucid dream is being experienced; you are actually out-of-body. Being aware of this we can do many things we are incapable of doing in the physical. Healing is one of them. However, when beginning, speed of thought is of the essence. Should the knowledge that you are out startle you, you can, and probably will, be drawn back to the body. Just be cool about it, recognizing the fact that you know you are dreaming, and then do your experiments. In this case I was slightly startled but not enough for the silver cord to haul me back. However, though being slightly startled didn’t cause me to be pulled back, the powerful electric coolness did, so I laid quietly on my back until the energy dissipated. It covered me for about five minutes then slowly faded out..
I decided then and there the next time I would do it right: Locate my body first, and then stand over it thinking healing at it. That’s the proper way to do it. Still, hip and knee joints that had been giving me trouble lately have toned down considerably
Well, for a first attempt I’m not unhappy. The next one will be more thoughtful and organized. I hope I have it soon, though. Sometimes the wait between lucid dreaming, and normal dreaming, can be quite lengthy.
