Some people have been asking where I've been. I haven't gone anywhere.
Today was my 102nd time cycling around the mountain so far this year.
It's a lot more pleasant now with the better weather.
Still, it's been a very cool spring and summer's started off the same.
That's a blessing since it mitigated the threat of flooding due to the heavier than average snowpack in the mountains.
Cryssie and Jo (my daughters) have been traveling in Europe for over a month.
They phoned me from Barcelona two days ago.
It was 39 degrees (Celsius); that's 102 Fahrenheit in the bright sunshine.
Here, it was 11 degrees (52 Fahrenheit).
Some folks are not able to view the photos. That's too bad. They are clearly visible when I access the blog. It probably has to do with your computer settings.
Some tiny flowers on my lawn (they look big because it's a close-up.)
In actual fact, they are like tiny daisies.
Just down the road from here, the development continues.
From mountain forest less than two years ago to this.
Thankfully even though this is only a few hundred yards away, none of it is visible from my home.
