I helped remove a splinter from the finger of a person I know very well. He is a bit of a whiner, so a simple splinter was a big deal to him. He went off to get a bandaid and came back holding out his finger with a big glob of neosporin on the end saying, "can you help me with this bandaid?" He held out the finger and only then noticed.........he was holding out the wrong finger smeared with neosporin.
