Maximum courage is necessary to let yourself and answer hundred years later to such a great spirit as E.A.POE. But I did it! my inner world and love helped me on my long way.

INSPIRED BY  E.A. POE ”THE RAVEN'"

                         RESPONDED BY EKA BAKRADZE

                                                                                        2008
1

Once upon a midnight dreary, while I wandered weak and weary,

The gate of heaven opened wide and glory spirit came inside.

Over many forgotten being I was touched by invisible wing…

Archangel sent me back to earth beyond darkness to misty shore...

I was tapping on your heart, rapping on your chamber door…

Only this and nothing more!!!

2
Ah, distinctly you remember… It was a dark and cold December…
Fire-place, gray ember,  ghostly shadows on the floor…
No present, past or future, time passed beyond the bounds…
Grief and sorrow, no tomorrow,  sorrow for the lost Lenore
Soundless soul was annoyed, the final chord was just minor…

That was me your Lenore!!! Timeless love for evermore!!!
3
Your foreboding uncertain was just pain, ruthless pain…
Thrilling feelings so fantastic overwhelmed me everlasting…
So, that now, I still hear rapid beating of your heart…
That’s me darling, that’s my spirit entreating entrance on your heart…
I am here, can you hear? Late visitor!!! Open the door!

That’s me always your Lenore!!! That it is and nothing more!!!
4
If your soul grew stronger, hesitating then no longer.
Recognize me!!! No forgiveness could be accepted or improved.
But the fact is I arrived, I am tapping on your heart,

It is so very sad and hard... I am here! Can you hear?!

Rapping on your chamber door…
Darkness there and nothing more!!!

5
Deep in love and out of time, how long should I stay sublime?
With no hopes and dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before…
Eternal love is still unbroken, as tender feelings ever spoken…
Mirage already disappeared… Just an echo was whispered,

Only that magic word, Lenore!

Merely this and nothing more!!!

6

Life is gone, but time still turning, all my soul within me burning…

Soon again new pain, somewhat sharper than before…

Will distinctly re-appear,

And prepare new space for mystery to explore

My heart now willing nothing... But fantastic, everlasting

Lusting love and nothing more!!!

7

I returned almost for ever from the Saintly days of past…

Yea, the raven returned out of century’s of loneliness, pain and dust…

That’s great! Don't wait! Warm your heart and your cold mind!

Unlock for ever that bolted door…

Let me inside!!! Let me inside!!!

Let me inside and nothing more!!!

 8
My sad face still beguiling, somehow fancy into smiling…
All my essence is rarely shaped... I escaped down from heaven …
In any case; time and space, once and for ever should be restored!!!
Ghastly grim and ancient raven that being of beyond down from heaven,
From a far off nightly shore, is a shadow of Lenore…
Just the shadow, nothing more!!!
9
Don't be surprised if ungainly all my soul discourses so plainly.
Though its mystic transformation persist patience against the boor...
No human being before was blessed with seeing the lost spirit,
As amazing as a labyrinth, as a ghost near the chamber door
With such a name - Nevermore...

10

I am so sad and lonely... All I have is pure words only,
But that one(!) into which for sure, my whole soul will out pour
Couldn't be found anymore… Help me have it!!! O my Lord!
Since the creation of the world, I am searching for this word!!!
Which was sentenced long before,
With such a verdict-as Nevermore...
11

Centuries of stillness are almost broken, by magic words

So boldly spoken against the sorrow of a dreadful bore...

Veritable master acknowledges faster the reason of disaster...

If truly believe an absolute truth, life after life.

What do you say, if one nice day love appears at your door?

Would you pray in your mind to let it inside for evermore?

12
If the raven is still beguiling your sad fancy into smiling.
Keep your anger, so distinctly don't unleash a veiled war...
It is a shadow, nothing more... just a lost spirit, the ghostly being.
Late visitor touched by angels’ eternal love, by heavenly wing.
It’s a ghost from shade of yore...
With strange name of "nevermore"

 13
Who knows, may be you are guessing, with one word

So deeply impressing is impossible, just unreal! I do not care!

Somewhere there must be a question without an answer....

I do not mention new dimension.
Fiery eyes extinguish light, in darkest nights gloated o'er…
Is it still bright?! For Evermore!!!
14
Ah, the air grew denser... Perfumed from an unseen censer...
Swung by Seraphim's, across your chamber door…
Damn! You screamed... Ah my Angel! My timeless love Lenore!!!!
Tell me raven, out of heaven did you see my lost Lenore?!
But just air grew denser... There was not any answer....
Just a whisper - Nevermore....

15
"Prophet" Said you.” Things of evil"… No my dear, how can a devil
Create a soul so undaunted. I am enchanted even unwanted.
This is a mystery, charm, temptation, reincarnation, a new turn...
Destiny tossed me on your door. On this home by horror hunted.
Tell me truly I implore.  Am I still wanted?! Or forgotten? Let me know...

There was an accord - Nevermore.
16
I was sent by that heaven, which bends above us, to your shore...
I was created by that God, we worship and truly adore...
I am rare, so radiant, your happiness and your sorrow...
Eternal spirit, whom the angels name always your Lenore...
Now and forever! Now and forever! Now and forever!
For Evermore!!!
17
Meeting and parting... So up starting... Ending and starting life again...
Boundless pain healing but hurting More than whenever, than before...
Strolling spirit, stuck in a labyrinth, beyond the night's misty shore...
Ruthless time broke unspoken... Silence was broken…

Silence was spoken!!! Resting loneliness on your door…

Now and forever, For Evermore!!!

18

If love is a freedom of the soul and mind,

That heavenly kingdom always reminds

A little paradise! True love never dies…

The spark of the eyes is incredible art.

Open your heart! Eternal love is tapping, rapping on your door!

That’s me, always your Lenore! Now and forever, For Evermore!!!
