a love song on my birthday: "Because she is there"

Poem Artwork

Human After All?

I try not to care
But then: she is there!
And try as I might
Her humanity
Brings mine out in me

It simply feels right

So am I human after all?
At least I would be
In good company

This leap of faith ends not in fall
But in rising creative desire
A lifting to love while tried by fire

Because she is there

Always as now
Beckoning to me
I guess I will care
Reckoning that she
Will show me how

A leap of faith, many great writes, fantastic journey's, couragious defeats, romances, and famous inventions would have been left undone had someone not taken that single leap of faith. Great write and a happy birthday to you my friend as well as a happy New Year's wish filled with joy, peace, and happiness.
