Steven Even So



Old enough I know but even so
Being becomes a habit for
Us if we have it to have some more
It might be tough for me to go

Not quite fear of death if anything
It might be fear of suffering
Hoping I have had enough for now
Not have any more anyway

And when now is then enough somehow
That I can make it through that night
With what it takes to make it alright
For me to go so far away

But be Steven even so to find
What I had wondered underway
In Paradise of another kind
From this valley when I go on

Being otherwise out of my mind
Out of my body too someday
To shine on the other side of dawn
Seeing me be becomingly

Steven even though another way
Even so to go on going
Knowing then we never stop growing
Maybe forgotten but not gone
