Mind do you mind
Giving me some peace of mind
Mind do you mind
Giving me a break
Mind do you mind
looking to the present
Mind do you mind
Letting go of the past

Mind all the mirrors
like looking glasses to the past
Mind all the empty echoes
screaming through the night
Mind all those shadows
creeping in the corners
Mind all my skeletons
rattling in the closet

Mind is in turmoil
twisting and turning
Don’t mind me
I’ll shake you off my shoulders
Mind if I step away

I’m not running
I’m not trying to hide
I simply decided not to
Mind anymore
I took my notes
I paid attention
And now I can breathe again
