Miracles

by Elisabeth Barstowe — Read all 441 poems by Elisabeth Barstowe

Sometimes I really don't know what all the fuzz is about.

Tuesday, February 16, 2010

Miracles are mirrors worth
rainbows of  transcendent lucidity
Hope is wearing make up
to cover up the battle scars
Life is a dusty road
travelled by it's tired companion;
reality.....

If this is what you want
ask and you shall receive

Me....
I'll stay on the less travelled road
if you don't mind

Where life is a straight shooter
and there's no doubt
that what I see
is really what I'll get
There's no big mystery here
only love and understanding

Different aspects, different instinct, to each of us and our own as to the way we live our life but you point out some good points for doing it this way, in a miracle. It sometimes takes so long for real miracles to come true in our lives, but I feel they are wll worth the wait when they do come to us suddenly or long awaited.

Elisabeth, pristinely succinct -- your message on the wings of a small and powerful bird -- peace and love be with you -- JM

Well, I think if you keep writing like this your road less traveled will become crowded. But it's funny how many of us get lost on the road most traveled. Not believing what we are seeing or believing it. Great write. Liz
