Truth hurts I know
that's why we push it away as we go.
We pull down the blinds
to hide our minds

that you had that worn down roadmap all this time
locked away inside your own mind.
The road to happiness is your creation
you just have to resist the temptation
to put the blame where it don't belong
don't keep singing that same sad old song.
