Sweet Nothing

by Elisabeth Barstowe — Read all 441 poems by Elisabeth Barstowe

Saturday, March 27, 2010

What is this heavenly bliss?
Lingering with the sense of your touch, your kiss.
I'm melt, melt, melting away into
sweet, sweet nothing, oohh..

What a sensation
pure heavenly creation.
Seconds, into minutes, into hours, into days
this sensation persist, it's here to stay.

Liquid gold, velvet sunshine,
growing steady with the hands of time.
There's a message clear, a sign,
I will always be yours, and you will always be mine.

We're standing together at the end of the rainbow
holding on tight to our greatest treasure, our love.
In the light of perfection like this
may I seal our fate with a kiss?

Forever more..
Sweet nothing..
Our universe collide and expand,
a journey together until the end of time.
