Elisabeth, you have poetically scribed the "Cactus Head" theory that all have or will subscribe to at sometime in their life. I thought for a time it was associated with the era of information overload. But it is not so. It is a period when we withdraw and reexamine our personal beliefs, our values and assess where in life we are relative to those beliefs. An interesting write my friend.
