Rocket Science

by Elisabeth Barstowe — Read all 441 poems by Elisabeth Barstowe

Dedicated to an old friend of mine.

Saturday, January 1, 2011

It aint rocket science
to know that a woman is
fragile and tender hearted.

It aint rocket science
to know that man and woman
in soul ways
are two species.

So knowing that
her needs and wants are not
excactly like yours
should not be so hard for you.

After all,
you are the rocket scientist
well wandered in the ways
of the universe.

How difficult can it be
to figure out
a womans mind.

It aint rocket science...

Elisabeth, female human emotions are very complex. Especially to the average man. However I would think a rocket scientist would be more adept at figuring them out than the average Joe. It must be a case of desire more than ability. Good luck my dear friend. I bid you love and peace. Jon Michael

If you are ambivalent, it is very difficult. A man's feelings are ambivalent most of the time.

LOL I have to disagree on this one Elizabeth, for a woman's mind although a wonderful thing is in no way simple and uncomplicated and neither is her heart... but I know what you are trying to say.

lol. Some men never get it and some come by it so naturally. It's a wonder. Love it. Liz
