Dreamweavers tale

by Elisabeth Barstowe — Read all 441 poems by Elisabeth Barstowe

A soundwave surfer
screaming message on the air
Words are tumbling
like
an avalanche they're here.
I cannot turn away
I cannot run and hide
as it draws near.

Imagination tingle like
an endless scratch.
All that I  can think is wow!
I've got some waves
that I have yet to catch.

My dreams are
soaring soaring.
Ever high
it's all that I can
do to catch that ride.

Fly, fly forever more
Dreamweaver
catch the sky.
Before your dreams
pass you by
you've got to catch that high.

It's good reading you again. Yes, we must ride that high. I sing and surf old songs every evening for my partner before we go to bed. And those dreams, I capture them in short stories so that the whole world can experience what I did while in a dream state rather than consciously writing like I'm writing now, to you.
