Love

by Elisabeth Barstowe — Read all 441 poems by Elisabeth Barstowe

This heart of mine is filled to the brim
to much love awaiting
the breakthrough,
to spread it's light across the world.

My chest, oh my chest it hurts
from millions yet millions of tiny hearts,
awaiting to break through these bars.
Sweeter than honey or dewdrops
as they spill with gentle caress across your lips.

With an explosion of emotion
set free from out of this rusty cage
of monogamy.
Shards of sweet affection awaiting
to rain upon you.

come..

I have enough love for all
that lives in this heart of mine.

It is good to be "intimate" with love and to know it and to be able to share it. Sadly, many cannot. Love, peace, and best wishes to you,
Elisabeth,

Regis. 🙏🌷🦋💚🌳
