Poem Artwork

 I am a blank space
an open book

You are a mystery
a closed book

I am out there
heart on sleeve

You hide in your lair
heart sealed

I find this appealing
yet appaling

Come what may
in this tale of ours

I know
it will lead to scars

Be they joyful
or mournful

That is yet
to be seen

Whatever may come
in this wicked little dream

I am all in
heart and soul

Through high
and through low

Please be mine
Until the end of time

When the heart dictates we are hooked…
Hoping the dream works out…
Beautifully expressed…
