Poem Artwork

Starlight twinkle, starbright
no firework more beautiful
than the clear nights sky.

Peace and serenity is but
a few footsteps away as
I gaze towards the starlit
canopy.

I enjoy walks in the snowy scenery,
surrounded by trees grazed
with a coating of frost.
Natures treasure chest has
me steadily amazed.

Watching as deer cubs pass
on the road ahead of me,
A beautiful image that
convey peaceful serenity.

Misty days are my favourite
as it brings alive tales of
folklore in my mind.
Trolls and goblins,
fairys and elfs,
lurking behind every tree.
My mind set ablaze with
childhoods mystery.

Another day the sky is roamed
by a mighty eagle searching
for it's prey.
I follow it's graceful flight,
and ponder it's thoughts
as it prepares for it's
preys plight.

Tomorrow I might see a magpie
and imagine it's feathers an
evening dress as I watch
it's orderly walk along
the road looking
 left, then right before
crossing the street.
I wonder what adventures
is it off to meet?
