Poem Artwork

The love I have is eternal
shining into, above,
and beyond

One beacon of many
to shine into darkness,
dissipation of ignorance
leading with love

There once was a man
of great stature he was
Echoing sound to be heard
into, above and beyond

One beacon of many
to shine into darkness,
dissipation of  ignorance
leading with sound

There once was a man
admired by none
he painted his pain
into wayling beauty,
on canvas splattered
paint of otherwordly
beauty
Echoing through centurys
spreading joy into eye
into, above and beyond

One beacon of many
to shine into darkness,
dissipation of  ignorance
leading with fragments
of paint

How many we are
that give without
hesitance
pouring out our
souls onto paper,
to give out thoughts
for the good of man

Or so we hope

Art an extension of the minds eye:

seeking to heal wounds,
seeking to spread light,
seeking to share love,

to

share knowledge

Our scars gape open wide
to resonate, to heal, to fade

to

become harmony

Perhaps our audience one day will see
what their scars can become

if they

resonate them

to heal,

to fade,

to

become

harmony

Beckon imagination
to plant, seed, fertilize,
grow, make diamonds
out of coal

Pressurized through decades
of dust, iron ore, rust,
forged in fire,
proven in war,
this malleable iron ore,
come to final peace upon

acceptance'

wayward shores

Yes, love has been hammered out malleable down through the ages until it is everywhere in the word and art of our being like the meaning of Starry, Starry Night: not an imitation of the Milky Way but a way of diminishing ignorance and seeing the light even in the middle of the day.
