Hello again Sunlight my old friend
It's been way to long since I last saw you
Many days have I huddled in front of the fire
wishing for your speedy return, and here you are
It's a most welcome and joyous return.
We shall not let you go so easy this time.

Hello daylight my old friend how have you been? 
Out here we have been flooded with dark
only the moon and stars our light at night
I know that soon  you will guide our way
both night and day, our eternal flame
unquenched during summer months 

As you two old friends have joined us again
the hours that pass by seem easier
Our minds weigh less and less with each day
Soon we will spend most of the hours 
outside, basking in your warmth
Euphoric with your rich scent and 
beautiful multicolored scenery

Life will be easier to live, easier to thrive
