Poem Artwork

I am a traveller
 soul adrift at sea
A foolish follower
of a peace to be

Why is it we cannot see our path
from start to beginning, aghast
Of lifes temptations and wrath
we seek to find meaning at last

Shelters built and toppled over
the safety sought from strife
Leaning in, shadows tower
hear the call of simpler life

Yet vanity bind us in chain
seeking in endless need
A mind and body sane
but we fall from greed

I have heard the calls that echo in the night
the ones that are willing to stand the fight
For what they believe is juste in sight
and not an inch they seek what's right

Following the pipe of the pied piper
seeking the code to decipher
What is false and what is true ?
Will he win your mind from you?

The journey should lie in beeing kind
in having no hidden agenda behind
Help those who are desperately in need
there is always another mouth to feed

Why should you sit on your throne of money?
Your belly so full of sweets and dripping honey
Why do you insist to keep what you don't need?
How can you act as the definition of greed?

My soul cries tears of sorrow and pain
this path the world has taken in vane
Leaders gaslighting entire nations
luring souls with false tempations

He sits upon his tower of wealth,
cares not about the world's health
Laughing at all the fools that dance
his pipe they follow lost in trance

My soul will continue its journey
of knowledge and truth yearning
Of kindness and love to bring,
for the world to one day sing

An age to usher in so bright
a  healthy world with no fight
Life respected and praised
for all souls to be raised

To the sky
To the moon
To the stars

A world that is healed
learning from its scars
Souls in bliss sealed
adrift among the stars
