cool summer nap
cat breath on my face
whiskers brushing lightly
on my cheek and nape
head rub on my scalp
purring, roaring loud
downy feather pillow
now -
I'm floating on a cloud
purr becomes a lullaby
I'm drifting off to sleep
motor running gently
beat by beat by beat
