Nonsensical rhyme about a man who has delusions of grandeur.

I love the thought of walking out a lady on my arm,
I love the smells of countryside that come from fields farm.
Honey bees and butterflies and lovely wild rare plants,
lady birds and dragonflies, the small industrious ant.

My daughter tells me, when I dance, I dance just like a dad,
I always thought I’m being cool just like a trendy lad.
I can’t see why she sighs and says, I shame her and her pals,
just because I strut my stuff in front of all the gals.

I love to take my shoes off, when walking in the rain,
but socks get wet and ingrown toenail gives me so much pain.
I really like to skinny dip, now that is oh so cool,
the problem is, I'm banned from swimming in the public pool.

I sometimes love to be alone, I’m perfectly content,
but last time I was left alone, was when the jailer went.
I enjoy walking in the park and drinking beer ‘til late,
Chinese food and tiny babes, but not on the same plate.

I don't let setbacks get me down, well not since yesterday,
I tried to sneak in to the flicks, got caught and made to pay.
Shellfish always make me sick, like guys who beat up girls,
they never seem to realise, that girls are rarest pearls.

I like to go down to the gym, and work into a sweat,
I broke my leg on run machine, outrun it for a bet.
I'm handsome, good and debonair, but ladies never swoon,
go out in winter all alone throw snow balls at the moon.

Whom I kidding? I'm merely me and crazy maybe so,
I tried to juggle cannon balls and dropped one on my toe.
If wonder you what makes me tick, unique without a clone,
you’ll find me in the corner café, dining all alone.

So sad to be alone, but sometimes a good thing. Relationships are hard to work out and usually don't especially in older years. But you've a sense of humor, it seems some gal would love.
