I read your poetry today,
and it moved me.
I may not understand the depth
of your intended message, but
I know what I read.
That's the beauty of poetry,
it doesn't need explanation.
Interpretation is in the
heart of the reader.
You wrote what
you needed to say, and
I read what I needed to hear.
We were both blessed.
Dallas, this is one of the things that I love most about poetry.....although the author may have written it with a particular thought in mind, the interpretation, many times, is up to the reader. You have expressed this perfectly!
