'Twas a simple maneuver:
a turn around in a parking lot.
No big deal.
My bumper strayed into
the oncoming lane.
I noticed the oncoming car, and
jerked it back.
It wasn't even close.
Rage stamped itself,
an ugly scab across her face,
endless curses streamed with
spittle-splattered vehemence.
This woman didn't even know me, but
she hated me.
Lol... this is too cute. You probably interrupted her multi-tasking... doing the nails, talking on the phone, and wondering if she unplugged the hair straightener. It is so hard to think, drive and pay attention at the same time. Poor girl.
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.... yeeeeeeeees....!!! Love this, Dallas... so unexpected and yet so seemingly just and right. If peeps behave like children, they reap a child-like response, quite deserved. Nothing makes my blood boil like impoliteness on the road and I can relate heartily to your reactions here. Cathartic write for one such as myself, thank you! :)) xx
Contraband Marriage, traveling along the hemline of loving after incarceration, is a love story written in lyric and free form, set in reality with a different ever after.

(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :D
Me, I would have not been so Christian-like: I would have either cussed or given them the finger. LOL
