Gwen this is an astonishing portrait of the reclusive poet who is what he is and expects all to accept him that way,and frankly doesn't "give a damn my dear" if you don't! A very difficult hard shell to pierce! Superb poem!

and I've known such emotional-recluses like this.
I truly enjoyed this "psychological study," Gwen.
this is wonderful, this is second poem today that touches the part of me that loves poetry about the agonies of love and life...and i've just started reading.

This is a very sad, but all too true piece. Everyone that has had their heart broken over lost love, whether the love is espousal, platonic, parental, sibling, or from someone else, knows the truth in the words you have written Gwen.
Masterfully written Gwen, like an artist's portrait on a canvas. This is very first rate work, Gwen, and even tho it brought back very horrific memories, I did enjoy reading this.
