I wrote this just before I began sharing my songs and writings with humanity. . .

Silenced
by The Poetess (SRP)

In my cave I sang, for the winged ones and the four legged.
I sang for the moon and the Sun; the Earth and the Stars.
But the humans. Ah....the humans,
These are the ones who silenced my voice.
These are the ones who do not know Love.
And I became one of them -
One of the strangled voices -
One of the silent songs
So, it is for them I shall now sing,
That I not judge those who judged me.

We all need to begin somewhere and that seems to be your starting point. A declaration to remember when motivation seems to decline.

Let no one ever silence you again, yours are songs to be heard and appreciated for their worth.

Singing and music will change the world. Even though we may be silenced, the songs of our hearts will sing on.

Nicely done...I agree that a lot of humans don't really know how to be "human"....hatred,cruelty,prejudice have been eternally perpetuated....

"sharing with humanity",
that took a lot of courage I'm sure. Humanity is unforgiving and vicious, and oh so opinionated and arrogant. I have struggled all my life not to judge, or become like, or smell like, or talk like, those that tried to render me ineffective for so many years in my past. Thankyou for reminding me that others struggle too. Peace to you ... richard
