Do I still hold "A treasure?"

Remnants of Bliss
by The Poetess (SRP)

 

I found a treasure long ago

To me the Light it dared to show
But as I stumbled muddy land
It was taken from my hand.

I grope to find the little trace
It left in eyes upon my face.
It is here. I’m sure it is -
Remnants of bliss.

Remnants of bliss sometimes give us something to hold on to. This is a moving piece.

There are times when darkness falls and we stumble, dropping that light....the trick is to get right back up and find it again....thought provoking words in your poem....
