For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after they have erred from the faith and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. We just can not realize that we all may have become slaves to our desires or our temptations at times.

All ... slaves we ... are all slaves yes we are All slaves, all slaves. Slaves ... to the money,Slaves to the honey. To the men, ... to the pen. Slaves ... to the non-sense, slaves... to the intitlement, Slaves ... to EMOTION, slaves ... to DEVOTION ... (Jesus Saves All Slaves!) Slaves to the Prisons, slaves ... to the Women, Slaves ... to the "get- it -done today" , Slaves ... to the "do-you-hear what I say?" All ... SLAVES ... We ... are ... all slaves, all slaves, all slaves Yes-we are, all slaves ... all slaves Slaves ... to DISTRUCTION, ... slaves ... to INDUCTION, Slaves ... to COMMOTION, ... slaves ... to DEVOTION. Slaves ... to my FATHER, ... slaves ... to my MOTHER, Slaves ... to my SISTER, ... slaves ... to my BROTHER. Slaves ... to my PICTURES, ... slaves ... to my FIXTURES, Slaves ... to the STRANGER, ... slaves ... to the ANGELS, Slaves ... to the INNOCENT, ... slaves ... to PAY THE RENT! Slaves ... to the RACE, ... slaves ... to YOUR FACE. FIRST IN LINE AT THE MANHATTAN BANK, FIRST IN CHURCH, SAYING PRAYER(S) - OF THANKS. SLAVES ... TO ... YOUR FACE, SLAVES TO YOUR RACE. (Jesus ... saves ... all ... slaves!) All ... SLAVES, TALL SLAVES. BLACK SLAVES, WHITE SLAVES. DAY SLAVES, NOON SLAVES, EVENING SLAVES, NEW SLAVES OLD SLAVES, ALL SLAVES. "All SLAVES, All SLAVES..WE ARE ALL SLAVES..." The key word in this poem is much like the mind ruminating a hypnotic mantra bracing it self for a mindful descent and/or ascent into its own self inflicted empiric madness in realizing what it has become. I kneeled at the foot cross of this poem and surrendered "YES! I'm a SLAVE, I'm a SLAVE, I'm a SLAVE to this review...yes I am...a SLAVE." Thank you for bringing this notion to my attention.
