The award winning poem which serves as the preface in my book, "The Abduction of Rebecca."
Softly as I sleep, the child within begins to speak.
The shadow of my mind reflects with bright colored imagery, the times of days gone by.
For a second, you don't hear a sound, then the family is all around.
The house filled with endless chatter,
nothing seems to really matter.
Daddy with me on his knee peers out the window and shouts with glee!
"Look at the crops, there, as far as you can see!"
In the land of plenty, the house filled with many and thankful every day for the
camaraderie, the child within is home again.
Suddenly in a cloud of haze,
the child within begins to fade.
But nothing is left behind; it's all here, within the shadow of my mind.
The familiar lament of dual-career parents raising children is, "I just can't do it all." The Libra Solution provides an alternative - a more satisfying and sustainable work and life approach - to the overwrought modern day norm.
