With an inner light to guide us.

We desire death.

Avoiding the truth.

Embracing lies.

In a deadly game.

Where nobody wins.

So many voices enrich us.

Like crystal chimes.

They reflect the rhythm of life.

And yet.

We are deaf to them.

Seeking the harsh sounds.

Of our own thoughts.

Cold comfort for pain.

Shards of broken glass.
