Quite a powerful write, Patrick! There are fanatics in every so called "religion". I think if we all practiced "spirituality" on an individual basis (whatever that spirituality might be), the world would be a better place. No matter what our beliefs, we are all part of the same group "humanity".

Fantastic acrostic!! This tells very powerfully of the co-opting of all religions to control and corrupt the many for the benefit of the few. One thing you might not be aware of is the fact that radical Islam was actually funded by Western governments and is in many respects either completely controlled, co-opted or influenced by intelligence (CIA, MOSSAD, MI6, etc.)It started with the CIA funding the Mudjahadeen in Afghanistan in the '80s. This then morphed into al Qaeda (itself a CIA creation) and on and on it goes. We literally create and fund our own enemies to deliver a pretext to take over nations for resources because it's all about business. Nothing else. Good poem.

There is a world of difference in their theology. There is little difference in the way they live... good and bad. I have two Muslim friends that I would trust with my life. I wouldn't trust the majority of Christians that I know with a dollar. It is sad when you consider the founder of their movement... or faith... or religion... or whatever the touchy they want it to be called.

I too believe he Christian standpoint is right - The problem is Christians don't always practice what they preach. . .

Who is right? I personally think the Christian standpoint is because Jesus preached love and goodness, not violence and hatred, yet He was hated for it and eventually killed, even though He was totally without sin, without blemish. Sad! God help us all!
