Overwhelmed by a flood of darnkness that
sat upon me like clouds atop a mountain
this unwelcomed guest drenched and pelted
every inch of my being, with hail the size of golf balls
the air around me was sultry, putrid and humid
gasping...
for air and deliverance from this wretched enemy
at last...
the sun rose upon the horizon
and...
it painted a beautiful bright orange backdrop against the crystal blue sky
and...
next came the most beautiful rainbow I have ever seen
igniting and infusing my once somber soul
with the bright light of his glory!

I looked for your article "A Quiver Full of Lies and Deception," but was unable to locate it. Anyway, I am happy you have come out of the storm and can see the rainbow.
